All About Alisa Tolson, Principal

I grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska where I attended Nebraska Wesleyan unnamedUniversity and earned degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. I received my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership & Administration from Jones University. I have been at Heritage for 17 years! I taught kindergarten, first, second, and third grade. I was also the Assistant Principal before becoming the Principal.

My husband, David, and I have four children - Grace (17), Hannah (15), Cade (14), and Lilly (12.) We also have a dog and two cats! We enjoy spending time together and being active outdoors. I enjoy sunshine, running, reading, and being surrounded by positive people who encourage continuous improvement. I believe finding balance in life contributes to our well being. Professionally, I am a principal, teacher, and change agent who strives to make collective decisions that are best for our students.

All about Jean Wolach, Assistant Principal

I grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley earning a degree in Business Marketing as well as a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I attended the University of Denver to obtain my degree in Educational Leadership and unnamed1Administration. I have been at Heritage Elementary for 17 years and have taught kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade before becoming the Assistant Principal. I have been with Douglas County Schools for over 28 years and have enjoyed each and every year.

My husband, Patrick and I have have two wonderful daughters, our oldest Hannah (26) is in Nursing school here in Denver after completing a degree from Colorado University in Integrated Physiology and will earn her BSN next May. Our youngest Karlee (22) is completing her Cosmetology license in Greeley and hopes to move back to Denver in November once all her practical hours are complete. I enjoy biking, skiing and going to Orangetheory with many members of our Heritage staff.
